Charitable Events

SWEP participated in the Habitat for Humanity's Women Build Project in Hartford. Women Build, a program of Habitat for Humanity International, brings women from all walks of life together to build a legacy of better housing for families whose health, growth, and potential are threatened by substandard housing.

SWEP fielded a team of 15 women builders on the 20th of October to work on the 45 Loomis Street, Hartford project. Additionally, it was announced on September 18, 2007 at the Women's Build kick off reception that SWEP will donate $1000 to help fund this event.
