Description:
LFR is seeking an experienced, senior level, EH&S consultant/manager for our well established office located in East Hartford, Connecticut. This group provides regulatory compliance assistance and EH&S management services covering a broad range of compliance areas on projects throughout New England and New York. This is a leadership position reporting to the EH&S Group Manager. Candidates should have experience in key compliance areas such as waste, water, air management, and/or health and safety services. Primary duties of this position include:
Staff management, oversight, deployment, and mentorship
Project management
Assist LFR’s clients, regulatory agencies and project teams on a variety of regulatory and technical issues
Air, waste and water permitting projects
EH&S Plans, hazardous material storage/transportation consulting
Indoor Air Quality Assessments
Hazard communication, identification and accident prevention and investigation
Appropriate certifications are a plus. Exceptional technical, organizational, communication and leadership skills & the motivation to succeed are required. Ten to twenty years experience preferred.
