The Connecticut Society for Women Environmental Professionals Grant Program provides community based groups with up to $1,000 in funding for local projects that benefit the environment.  Grant applications are due on October 15, 2010.  Applications can be mailed, faxed or emailed.  Any application meeting the grant guidelines that is not successful in one cycle may reapply during any following cycle.

The SWEP Executive Committee will review each application and make awards in November.  The applications will be judged against the environmental benefits of the project and compared to the other grant submittals. “Environmental benefits” can vary widely and successful applications may include projects that improve the environment, such as property clean-ups or promote environmental education within Connecticut.

Please complete the attached application, and feel free to include in an addendum any additional information that you feel is relevant to the project.  Please feel free to include information on your organization, as well.
