Please join SWEP on November 4, 2020 from 10:00 to 10:30 for a virtual coffee break with Pam Elkow of Carmody Torrance Sandak & Hennessey LLP and Sam Haydock of BL Companies. They will be providing an overview of the recent amendments to the Transfer Act followed by Q&A and discussion.

THIS IS AN OPEN EVENT, so please share --  we are hoping that this encourages current members to stay with us in the new year and others to join. In 2020, these coffee breaks will be MEMBERS ONLY and there will a charge to nonmembers to attend our other web-based and in-person sessions.

Pamela Elkow has over 30 years of experience representing clients in remediating or redeveloping brownfields; purchasing or selling businesses or real estate with significant environmental liabilities or challenges; obtaining permits; providing environmental, health, and safety compliance counseling; and responding to governmental enforcement. Her clients include large companies engaged in the remediation of legacy properties, portfolio companies in the business of acquiring and remediating contaminated property for investment or resale, and municipalities engaged in redevelopment efforts.

Sam Haydock has more than 33 years of experience in environmental and land-use consulting. He serves as Program Manager and Senior Project Manager for complex environmental programs and projects and has extensive experience with environmental projects for industrial clients, developers, institutions, municipalities, municipal development entities, and state agencies. His technical background includes designing and managing site characterization studies for contaminant investigations, design and management of complex site remediation and brownfields redevelopment projects, environmental permitting, groundwater exploration and development, water resource assessment, and land-use impact evaluations.

We look forward to seeing you on November 4!
