2015 Grant Awards
The following organizations received environmental grant awards: Norwich Public Schools were awarded a grant to assist with installing National Wildlife Foundation certified monarch butterfly gardens at each of their 6 schools and provide education and community outreach materials.
Manchester Community College Community Garden were awarded a grant to purchase solar panels to provide sustainable water to their garden area. The food harvested will donated to local food banks/soup kitchens.
Boulder Knoll Community Farm were awarded a grant to install drip irrigation and reduce water consumption for the farm, which is used for educational purposes and community fundraising events. To view the final grant report, click HERE.
